Doylestown Hospital

Doylestown Hospital is a 208 bed, comprehensive, community-focused healthcare facility serving patients and families in the northern suburban communities of Philadelphia, including Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania and Hunterdon and Mercer Counties in New Jersey. Founded in 1923 by the Village Improvement Association (V.I.A.), our energies are always directed toward fulfilling a key phrase in our Mission Statement: to provide a responsive, healing environment.

Our friendly work environment appeals to our nurses, while our advanced services challenge them. At Doylestown Hospital, we believe that rethinking the way things have always been done is the only way to shape the future.

Doylestown Hospital is situated in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on the edge of Doylestown at the intersection of Route 202 and Route 611 bypass and accessible by public transportation. The pleasant historic town, nestled in an attractive suburban setting, is centrally located about 30 miles north of Philadelphia, 2.5 hours by car to New York City, and less than a 2-hour drive to the Jersey shore or Pocono Mountains. Central Bucks is also home to excellent public and private schools, numerous restaurants, multiple recreational opportunities and some of the most bucolic countryside in Pennsylvania.
