A Life-Changing Career

Responsibilities:

If you are passionate about leading and developing other nursing professionals and are looking for the ultimate flexibility in scheduling, this is the perfect job for you! CHjobs

You are invited to be a part of Charter House, Mayo Clinic’s only Retirement Community, as the Nurse Manager providing Long Term Care/Rehabilitation in the Medicare Certified Long Term Care licensed unit within Charter House. Join a team of four Nurse Managers (each with their own respective work units), working in collaboration with the Director of Health Services in providing the best care possible to residents.

In this exempt role, you will be empowered to create your schedule and have the ability to easily take time off for appointments and vacations. • Empowerment – The Nurse Manager has oversight of and responsibility for a team of over 40 RNs, LPNs, and CNAs within the Short Term Rehab department. As a Nurse Manager, you will play an integral role in daily problem solving as new needs arise with residents and team members, providing guidance and implementing best practices in geriatric care.
  • Focus – Under the direction of the Director of Health Services and working side by side with a Charge Nurse, you will be fully dedicated to your role as Nurse Manager, providing leadership and operational management for the short-term rehab work unit.
  • Family Environment - Home to over 350 residents and 400 staff members, Charter House is passionately referred to as the “Charter House family.” At Charter House, you will develop rewarding relationships with residents and colleagues and know your work is appreciated each and every day.
  • Mayo Clinic Resources – Being owned and operated by Mayo Clinic provides our residents and staff access to world-class health care along with a low patient to staff ratio. Plus, as a Mayo Clinic employee under the Department of Nursing, you will be eligible for Mayo’s generous benefits package.
