The VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network Office VISN 6 is currently recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse. Position is located at the Richmond VA Medical Center, Hematology Oncology Unit, Richmond, Virginia. Duties include being proficient in:

--Intravenous Access, including Peripheral IV Lines & Central Lines

--Therapeutic Phlebotomy

-- Administration of Blood Products

--Administration of Electrolyte Repletion

--Chemotherapy Administration

--Biotherapy Administration

--Assessment & Evaluation Skills

--Telephone Triage Skills/Critical Thinking Skills

--Accurate Documentation Skills

--Evidence Based Nursing Expert Skills

--Patient Advocate Skills

--Member of the Interdisciplinary Team

--Education (patient & patient's family)

--Counseling (patient & patient's family)

--Team Player/Time Management/Computer Skills


Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required for coverage. **Management reserves the right to determine and/or change tour of duty.**
